As a senior completing a bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Finance with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I am an ideal tutor. I have a track record of demonstrated personal success with the ACT, the PSAT, the SAT, ASPIRE, and several different AP exams. I am also able to instruct students on the finer points of my major, including Math, Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics. I also have extensive tutoring experience. I have been working with children ranging from kindergarteners to high school seniors for three years and have tested my tutoring methods with them. I am especially fond of working with students on test preparation, as I enjoy sharing the strategies of my own success and helping students to think critically.For me, the benefits of learning do not stop at the classroom or the end of tutoring sessions. They extend beyond academics into everyday usage, and are useful in living a more rewarding life. Helping students to lay the foundation for those future benefits is something of a passion and I look forward to more tutoring opportunities.As for my personal time, I spend it on activities that relax and refresh my energy levels.
